All our sheep are raised here on our Pennsylvania Ecofarm using sustainable and cruelty-free guidelines. We raise heritage breed Romeldale/CVM sheep, Finnsheep, Icelandic/Finn Crosses, Harlequin Sheep and Romney/Romeldale crosses. Our wool comes from healthy, hand-raised, pasture-raised free-range sheep. Animals are grown without chemic

We raise heritage breed Romeldale/CVM sheep, Finnsheep, Icelandic/Finn Crosses, Harlequin Sheep and Romney/Romeldale crosses. Our wool comes from healthy, hand-raised, pasture-raised free-range sheep. Animals are grown without chemicals, pesticides, are not inoculated with synthetic hormones or antibiotics. Sheep are never dipped in harsh pesticides to control parasites. Our sheep are fed corn and hay from local growers and always have access to pasture and chlorine-free water. We wash our wool by hand here on the farm, it is never sent to large mills, is not bleached or dyed. The wash we use contains organic chemicals that convert electrically charged particles in solutions to remove dirt. Contains no bleach additives, phosphates, enzymes, brighteners, petroleum, stripping agents, or irritants. All dyes are natural from plants or mushrooms unless otherwise noted or special ordered.

We have been foraging for many years and are certified and authorized by the State Health Department and Department of Agriculture to sell foraged mushrooms. We offer many mushrooms throughout the year including Morels, Chanterelles, Chaga, Black Trumpets, Turkey Tail, Lobster, Reishi, King Boletes, Lions Mane, Blewits, Milkies, Puffballs

We are committed to raising heritage breeds here on our Ecofarm, and made the decision to raise Berkshire pork as part of this tradition. Our breeding stock comes from high quality breeding stock from Flyn K Berkshires in Iowa. Our pigs are hand raised, free of chemicals, hormones or antibiotics. We raise breeding stock as well as heritage pork.

Our family has been keeping bees for many years, and we are committed to natural beekeeping practices without the use of chemicals or pesticides in our apiary. Our honey is always raw, retaining all of the health promoting properties. We also offer beeswax candles, honey infused beauty products, honey butters and other treats from our apiary throughout the year.

All of our birds are fed local organic feed from Engelbert Farms. We also offer hatching eggs and chicks in the spring.

Quail are the most recent addition to our Ecofarm, and we look forward to offering organically fed eggs and quail. We also use our Quail eggs for crafting and art. All of our birds are fed local organic feed from Engelbert Farms.
